St Catherine's Church
As Church of England school we are linked with our local parish church, St Catherine’s, the Church plays a central role in the life of our school community. This partnership helps to strengthen the school’s Christian ethos and values, offering pupils opportunities for worship, reflection, and spiritual growth. Clergy from the church often lead worship, support religious education lessons, and take part in school events and celebrations. Pupils visit the church for services at key points in the Christian calendar, such as Christmas, Easter, and Harvest. Through this close relationship, the church and school work together to nurture a sense of belonging, kindness, and faith in all members of the school community.

Harvest Festival 2025
On Tuesday 30th September, the whole school visited St Catherine’s Church to give thanks for the food and crops that have been grown throughout the year. During the service the children talked about the importance of gratitude and sharing, especially with those who may not have enough. We gave donations of food, said prayers and learnt about the role of farmers at Harvest time.
